Has anyone bought a limescale eliminator for their central heating system or household water supply? I'd like to know what peoples experience of them are as i am considering buying one due to problems with our heating system.

Thanks

You only need a water softener for Hard Water area's such as East Anglia etc. Softened water is for Bathing and Washing.
You don't fit a water softener to the heating system as it should be leak free and dosn't require constant topping up. Softened water contains salt which can cause corrosion to steel radiators if they leak.
What problems do you have with your heating system?
