Lil next door is 81 today, not far of being bedridden.

Never been away from Jim in 54 years of marriage. He is still in hospital after skin graft.

He is 81 in July and recovery may take a while I fear.

Put my petty issues in perspective.

Anyway, have a happy day, enjoy any good weather out there and remember Lord Mountbattens last words.

I think this post is a bit 'Pollyanna' SparklyKid. It doesn't matter what awful things are going on in the world, everyone is entitled to the odd grump when their lives are not going well.
Agree with Margaretbottom, we are all entitled to feel down , these are unprecedented times we are living in Sparklykid, you feel carp and then bounce back , fishing is okay again, you were a keen catcher as I recall?
Not as bad as when Mrs Hitler said to Adolph Sr " Shall we have an early night?"
