Is there any point in posting letters at this time .I got a letter posted 9th April this morning .Letters I posted have not arrived .We pay good money to get post delivered . Could we not be advised about this has anyone else have same problem or do they know anything more than me good self about this Eh .

I had a letter posted to me on Weds and it arrived yesterday. I have noticed no change at all.

My post has been a day or two slower at times, both things I've sent and things I've received - so I'm still quite happy to post. I don't feel any need 'to be advised'.

No problems here although our deliveries are about two hours later than we usually get them.

Very little change here, some things a day or so later than usual and letter post delivered as late as 7PM due to staff shortages and people covering extra rounds.

I had problems with my post a few weeks ago and posted about it on here. I didn't receive any post for 14 days and yet all around me my neighbours were receiving theirs, albeit sporadically. On the 15th day I actually got post and have had it steadily ever since, although last week went four days again without any. It comes at all different times of the day as well now, whereas before coronavirus, my post always came around midday. Coronavirus is causing the problem I'm afraid.

Well, we have had a bank holiday recently plus another one this weekend as well. I also read on the website that no normal letters are being delivered now un saturdays at the moment and up until the beginning of june, only small packaged and parcels to be delivered on saturdays

It may be a local delivery office problem...I've been told by a local postman that because of staff shortages, we'll be lucky to get two deliveries per week..and they've arrived as late as 9pm!

I'm wondering whether to carry on posting crossword entries. I post about 7 a week and with the price of first class stamps so expensive is it worth taking the chance on it?
