Danny Vera's got a voice similar to that of Glen Campbell, with a song-writing style possibly more akin to that of John Denver. This song starts off gently and then builds gradually as the orchestra gradually joins him. Pure bliss!

Certainly a good voice, but as this thread points out, perhaps he sounds too much like other singers. A bit like the recent singer whose name escapes me, who has a great voice but sounds too much like Karen Carpenter. These sort of singers never get the recognition they deserve.

Actually, viewing the live version of that song that I posted later in the thread, I'm surprised just how few strings were actually needed to produce such a rich sound.
