gness have u heard this - hear the echo

Well, Tambo...I have heard that song more times than I can count and never heard that version.
Didn't think I'd like it but I absolutely loved it...thank you so much!

That was very atmospheric Tambo, thank you x

I know what you mean Gness. I was brought up on the Celtic "trads", if you like, and it seemed that at every ceilidh somebody inevitably sang Molly Malone, and Danny Boy, and The Muckin' o' Geordie's Byre, and Loch Lomond, and The Auld Triangle, and The Skye Boat Song, and...

Well, you get the picture!
I get the picture but you didn't mention The Fields of Athenry, Jim!....... :-)

Never heard of Josh White so I had a google. What a lovely and interesting chap.
See, we do find new things on Mamya's threads to interest and please us...x
No I didn't, because there were so many! I also didn't mention Ye Cannae Shove Yer Grannie Aff a Bus, Whiskey in the Jar, The Jeely Piece Song, The Irish Rover, I Belong To Glasgow, The Parting Glass etc.

I had heard of Josh, but little more than the name. Will delve deeper...
:-)..Yes there are many! Even in Athenry..... :-)
