Wasn't Lazarus raised from the dead ?
Jesus cured many lepers. Naaman is mentioned but it says God cured him !
Can't be any more help at the moment but will keep looking. xx
Can I ask you where you get your answer from sarumite? Leprosy appears to only be mentioned in the Bible in Matthew, Mark and Luke (only three or four verses) and I cannot see that the man's name is mentioned?
Have just found 'Parable of the Rich Man' and now I've lost what I was looking at ..
Some hospital called Lazarus ....... ? named after a diseased beggar. Looks like sarumite was right ? xx
The diseases collectively referred to as "leprosy" in the Bible are not the disease called "leprosy" today. They were contagious slow, wasting diseases.
Whoops!!! That's proved what an idiot I am!! Better get back to doing what I should be doing ---- paying bills. Sorry , promise not to jump in without thinking another time. : -)
I have just referred back to this question and read the many comments posted since my original answer was given.
There are certainly two different 'Lazarus' with connections to Jesus - (1) The person who Jesus raised from the dead after four days in the tomb, and - (2) The diseased beggar in Jesus' parable of the rich man and the beggar.
I accept that there is no direct reference to him being healed by Jesus, but am still of the opinion that this is likely to be the answer sought. Until of course somebody is able to come up with a more acceptable alternative!
