what?
Have I time to pour another Scotch and think about the question?
I'd finish the bottle and forget the question DT.
Not quite, what was said was if they could get the Minister's details, a written reply would be sent to him and there would also be a response in a future briefing.
The question was asked, along the lines of in the light of the Cummings fiasco will others who were out and about and who feared for the safety of their children or were looking to get help with childcare now have their fines cancelled.

I think y'all knew that though.
I didn't know that, so this was meant for News/Politics or Current Affairs then?

I see.

do you all - before you read a question think: I am not gonna understand this one
( reads question) - nope - no idea !

THE scene Matty Hancock
the place: no 10 D st [ 10 Downing St that is !]
the time - nemesis ! er 1700

Matty ( er Mr Hancock secretarty etc that is!) was asked by a man of the cloth ( a priest that is!) to review the fines people had had previously when taking their little doggies for a walk in view of Cack up Cummings

and Matty sweated and said 'yes'

and everyone said - yes what?
or yes what does THAT mean
or well he will do a turn around in an hour or two

and the consequence is - -
0ne standard AB / Trump correction - same statement with a "not" stuck in somewhere

I mean you lot - do you spend ALL day on AB ?
no meal no bog stop?

yeah right on Dougie !
you did english O level innit?
Affirmative.
No, I don't think that - I mostly tend to discuss people using their actual names and not mangle them.

I don't call the Queen Lilibet as her family did when she was a child for example.

Sorry if I have ruined a serious thread.
you havent
ruined it
it is now rather pretty - you might have used an emoji to brighten up perhaps a dark thought
and yet a lot of people referred to the late King Edward VIII with his birf name - David after abdication

and I suppose /surmise that his regnal name went with his anointing and when he left, he went back to what he was ( wastrel )
There are certain things that bother me about AB. One is not using the actual name of the person as Mamya has mentioned, second is not putting a proper title to the question and finally it's the spelling of words that make no sense. What does this mean and what? is this the end of a sentence? Then PP comes on to explain it . I give up.
I used copy an paste for the final part and it hasn't appeared. It was meant to be , is this the end of a sentence?
"What does this mean and what? is this the end of a sentence?"
That bit?
Sorry, I will try that bit again . Weecalf put , no full stop, then
Ok I don't know what is happening here but my full text isn't printing so I'm definitely giving up now.
