Reasons To Be Cheerful

1. It's Friday and it's payday.
2. I have Monday and Tuesday off. Monday is OH's birthday and we're going for a champagne picnic.
3. We've managed to find 5 bags of plaster - had to pay through the nose for it though.
4. The weather is beautiful.
5. My aunt got to visit my uncle today for the first time in nearly 2 months. Poor chap has had a stroke whilst recovering from Covid but we've been reassured there's no lasting damage.

This morning my late Mum's next door neighbour who also happens to work for my company phoned me to say that he was in the local hospital awaiting an endoscopy after a 7cm mass was found in his stomach. I have been so upset about that today and I feel so worried for him.

1. Watching the oh so cheesy musical Hairspray on You Tube, free of charge for 48 hours. I know!
2. I have a weekend of planting in the vegetable garden planned and the weather forecast is perfect.
3. It was payday today and for another month I have received 100% for staying home!
4. Petrol is 99p a litre.
