I think just being alive and in good health is a reason to be cheerful. It's the little things that make you happy. This morning my late Mum's next door neighbour who also happens to work for my company phoned me to say that he was in the local hospital awaiting an endoscopy after a 7cm mass was found in his stomach. I have been so upset about that today and I feel so worried for him.

The hotel was exemplary when it came to refunding my money - they did it as soon as I contacted them.
