We’ve decided to watch this again, having first watched it shortly after it was released, maybe ten or more years ago.
I’d completely forgotten how it all started, apart from remembering he was a chemistry teacher. Think I’m going to enjoy revisiting it as much as I enjoyed it the first time round.
The Wire is another one we may have another look at.
Any other recommendations of things you’re having a second look at?
Recently watched Better Call Saul and Homeland, but never heard of Thirteen. Just had a look and see it stars Jodie Comer, seems like one we’d enjoy, thanks Roslyn.
Thinking of watching Billions again. I was really enjoying it but something was wrong with our connection and kept stopping. We have fixed that so maybe will try it again.
In preparation for series 3, I have been binge watching the first 2 series of Killing Eve for the second time.
Rosyln; Unless i'm mistaken, the only episode of series 3 available on I-player is episode one. Hopefully after this episode has been aired on BBC1 tomorrow night, the entire series may be available?
yeah I did it again - perhaps because I was ill first time round
also some ooggie bits that needed explaining
how was the house wrecked? and how did "Heisenberg" get scrawled on the wall - ans - we arent told - he revisits and finds it thus.
I re-did better call saul - all the dickens adaptations I watch endlessly -
I am working froo The Good LIfe again- itself a spin off of the Good Wife but wivvart Julia Thingey
Pine City and Secret City - the Oz programmes on their GCHQ listening stations
The Black Crows - very violent, very arabic - if you can stand the Yazdi slaves getting buried alive in episode 2 - it makes you wanna watch the rest or er not - it gets better
Fauda - chaos in arabic - Hebrew ( Mossad ) and Arabic ( gallant arab freedom fighters who mostly get shot up from episode 1) - unexpected hit ( no really ) in the Arab world - new series !
episode 1 - they shoot up an Arab wedding - and shoot the groom and the wanted "terroreesten" gets away in order to wreak more havoc.
The State - on Beeb back up I think
4 x 1 hr - follows four hotheads to Syria and makes you wonder just how gullible Shameema begum was....
three dont come back - deffo a prog to er come back to !
I've watched BB three times and always loved it - Brian Cranston and the actor who plays Jesse are superb.
I also really enjoyed Big Little Lies. I know also that Chernobyl was very popular but it wasn't my thing.
I liked the book of Big Little lies... attempted Breaking Bad at least three times and got as far as the middle of second series, and was glad when I gave up... but would like to see other recommendations too. House is a great one to watch right through.
