For the last few weeks on 'Talking Pictures', I have been watching re runs of 'Sunday NIght at the London Palladium', with Bruce Forsyth, Ted Rogers, Jimmy Tarbuck, Jim Dale and Tommy Trinder hosting, a good old fashoined variety show, but 80% of it is rubbish, but back when I were a lad, I remember it was compulsive viewing in the 1950s and 60s.
As for this new Play Your Cards Right, I turned it off after about 5 minutes, didn't enjoy it at all, and did anyone else notice the strange way that Alan Carr turned the cards over, so cack handed, turning them over from the top, very strange indeed!

Bullseye and The Price Is right had prizes that were at extremes but mainly useless. Bullseye, cheap and useless; The Price Is Right, more expensive and more useless; garden ornaments that was ghastly; oversize bedroom and bathroom stuff.
Bullseye; set of crystal glasses on a Ratner tray; latest invention of 2" television etc; Bullys' Special Prize; a lovely set of garden furniture with a huge parasol. All of it probably bought from the Argos catalogue.
