Trying to find a white wine which my OH would enjoy.
Neither of us like Chardonnay much, although I will drink it occasionally.
I really like Sauvignon blanc, and also Pinot Grigio and vino verde but OH doesn’t like any of them.
I’ve ordered three different Albariño in this weeks click and collect, to see if any will hit the spot.
Anyone here an Albariño fan? How would you describe it?

I agree that Martin Codax is a good example of an Albariño but it's probably a bit intense for some. It's right up there with some of the heavier butterball chardonnays.

You can't go wrong with a good Viognier.
Like a Sauv Blanc with more depth to it as if it had a little Chard in it, citrussy notes.... Waitrose @9.99 (sometimes 2 off) is excellent
Ha! Thanks for your support danny x Blue Nun has always been my favourite wine and always will be. I care not what others think. In fact I have some chilling in the fridge right now (yum).
I quite like a white Spanish wine and usually opt for a rioja blanco. I have tried a few different albarino and some are far better than others.
Margie, at least your liver won't be harmed drinking Blue Nun. Not so sure about the enamel on your teeth :D
Had no problems whatsoever with my teeth enamel, thank you barry. Just off to pour myself a glass now - mmmmm really looking forward to it.
