Thanks All! Still struggling with this tricky puzzle with such strange words! Having trouble with 21(A) and 27(A), not sure how to incorporate "bra" in 27 and synonym for "let" in 21.

6D I think your O is wrong; first three letters are a synonym for 'tea', your D is correct (and I think parses as " 'd " i.e. a shortened 'had'), and the last three letters are a common Scottish christian name, with the whole being a citizen of an African country
22D last five letters are German for 'right' - this should get you there
