Hi techie Abers .... I am thinking about buying a new tablet, and the deal I am looking at is to get up to £150 off the price of the new one if I trade in my old one. However, I cannot seem to find which Apple Ipad version mine is .... under "settings" and then "General", the only thing re the version is: Version: 9.3.5 (13G36). and the Model is: MD528B/A. I am pretty sure that it's a 1 or a 2, but just need to be sure before I send it to this trade-in company for redemption. Any ideas, please, folks? and if there's anywhere else I should look within "settings", please ....
The '9.3.5' bit is the version of Apple's iOS operating system that your device is running. As that just happens to be the most recent version of iOS that a first generation iPad Mini could be updated to, it strongly suggests that it's a first generation device.
Many thanks, buenchico ... appreciate your help. Have ascertained that the one we're looking to part exchange is the Ipad mini 1 - no use to man nor beast any more, and the amount this company are offering for trade-in isn't even worth posting it to them .... Many thanks again, your help was very useful. Mr. Chox is going to get his new tablet anyway, and we will keep the Ipad mini for posterity ... bit of tech history in years to come .... Cheers again, Chox.
