. . . to (hopefully) brighten up up your evening:

(It's not the first time I've put a performance from The Refreshments here, and it's unlikely to be the last, but I just love their music!)

on the subject of taxis...…

Looks interesting!
I'll listen in when Celtic Heartbeat on Radio Wales finishes at 9.00 pm
( I'm just so modern and anyway it's Shady the Sad's favourite)

I've listened to Celtic Heartbeat on occasions too. There are some quite good music programmes on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Scotland.

My cats generally don't seem that bothered either way about music (other than not appreciating me playing air guitar or, worse, air drums when they're trying to sleep on my knee!) although Moonbeam does seem to enjoy Classic FM when there's, say, a violin concerto on.
You put me on to the Refreshments.
Wonderful.I like the stuff with Dave Edmonds.
Great stuff!..

Thanks, Mexican18. I was listening to the show where he guested earlier on today.

Thank you too, Patsy!
Mushy, I love Taxi. I discovered Harry Chapin long after he passed away, and his music is a delight.lo

Guess I might as well finish the story of Harry and Sue.

In a similar vein
Roll over Beethoven by ELO.
I've got the Harry Chapin Anthology set (4CD), it's wonderful - but Taxi (Live) is my all time favourite. I said on a music thread ages ago that I think he's the best storyteller in song.
Refreshments
They are hilarious
An object lesson in enjoying themselves and (almost) keeping a
straight face while performing
