I couldn't believe that anyone does this until we had a socially distanced meeting in a garden with very good friends today! They do!

I lick all mail then roll about on it. I then take it for a cozy little meal wearing my off the shoulder string vest.
I now do everything as per normal. I pay cash and take change etc.. When I go to the supermarket I disinfect my hands and the trolley handle - that's about it. Oh, when I fill-up with petrol I use their 'gloves' in the dispenser thingies. Not worried. :)
maggiebee i hope you wipe with antiviral not antibac! I don't but can understand people who choose to

I've been shopping "normally" throughout lockdown. I have the same £10 note in my purse that I had back in March - haven't used any cash for weeks.
This thread gives a quick peek into the lives of the deluded. I haven't done any of those things. There's no need to. You've all been had over by this govt. I'll have anothet treble whiskey please!
I just wash my hands occasionally
I started out with good intentions, but am gradually getting more lax in my ways.
//...there's a sort of competitive isolation going on//

Indeed. And that's very worrying because many people seem to be enjoying it. The more that gains hold the more difficult it will be to drag them out of their torpor and return to normality - which they must and soon.
We quarantined our food deliveries in the early days of lockdown. We ordered store cupboard food items long before we needed them and left them for a few days in a box in the summerhouse.

We opened all post and parcels outdoors and threw the packaging straight in the wheelie bin before washing our hands.

We bought fresh veg and milk fom the local farm shop where they insisted on hand sanitising before entering the shop and we took our own shopping bags.

We're just back to doing our own supermarket shopping now and have stopped the quarantine but we sanitise the shopping trollies and remain Alert.

Yes
I’ve been carrying on much as normal with groceries. I’m shopping for my dad so leave his stuff at the back door and then chat for a while at the front door. He goes to pick his shopping up as I leave.
Mind if I join you, 10ClarionSt? :-)
Absolutely Douglas. I'm as jober as New Sudge!
