Free School Meal Vouchers
A positive u-turn from the government. Well done to Marcus Rashford for highlighting this cause. I don't like your team at all, but good work.

ymb //parents should feed their own kids// Those parents who can do.Those that can't get vouchers if they pass a means test.

on BBC news last night, they interviewed a family who were benefitting from a foodbank scheme and who would welcome extension of the vouchers. the kids were saying that without the free food their studies will have suffered, etc. which is probably true.
yet both kids were sat at their study table wearing very expensive branded sports tops. presumably buying stuff recommended by Instagram influencers is far more important than buying food, and maybe the reason they need the foodbank? just saying.

//If you can't afford kids then don't have a night. or several nights of uncontrolled passion. I don't want to pay for your neglect.//
Typical old argument. Of course, that doesn't allow for kids from broken homes, leaving one parent to struggle alone, or widows/widowers, or fathers (and on occasion, mothers) who skeedaddle at the first sign of a baby bump.

Been said on here many times, and I don't mind saying it again. To many hand outs for people that don't want to work, and won't, the more you give the more they want, and what money they are given is thrown away on fast food, three times the price than if they cooked it themselves. The priorities of the last generations is pathetic. Farmers have been crying out for workers all over the country for weeks now to pick fruit and veg, ( and you don't need a degree to do that) result, one farmer had 300 applications, only 25 work for him now, why? most didn't turn up, the others did one or two days, then said it was hard work and too longer hours. Well you can't be that ruddy hungry then.
