The statue notwithstanding, reading about.the guy they arrested was equally disturbing. It was almost as if he was being deliberately provocative and seeking arrest with his actions, but then to resist arrest when it finally came makes me wonder if he was trying to achieve martyrdom.
Provoke police into action, and when that action happens, cry race hate. I hope I'm wrong about that.
