How do you come to the conclusion that the PM is taking chances with people's lives? He is not forcing anybody to go out or to do anything they don't want to. If you want to remain "locked down" you can. He's not relaxing the restrictions to prove anything. He's ding so in order that the country's economy can start up properly again.
//Think Boris,s decision will come back to bite him in the rear. I hope I am wrong , we all want covid over and done with.//
Frankly there is no choice, Gully. Of course we all want the crisis over and done with. But since the government chose to try to prevent the spread of the virus by suspending economic activity the crisis has become multi-pronged. There is no clear evidence that the cure is beginning to kill the patient and far more damage is resulting from the measures taken to fight the virus than from the virus itself. Anybody believing the country can continue in this state of suspension for much longer is living in a fools' paradise.
