Just great to see the booze guzzling, so called football fan prats back on the streets, thus leaving Liverpool council with a clean up bill. God help us next Saturday. And what's it all for, because 11 men can knock a bag of wind road a field, a bit better than the other 11 men. Well gee wiz. Lets go and set alight a few more buildings just for fun, throw a few bottles at the police and fire crews. Our Great Britain. Bring back full Lockdown. :0)

yes. in April 1977 Man U played at Norwich, in which the home side won 2-1 (they scored all 3 goals oddly enough), with the game followed by an impromptu riot (there's footage online - or there was). on the way back to Norwich station for their late evening train a group of fans found a red-bedecked fan, tired and emotional draped over some street furniture. the group took pity and ensured "mr drunk" didn't miss his train. at around 5am he awoke and asked where he was, to be told the train would be at Piccadilly in half an hour or so. Mr Drunk gave an anguished cry - "but I live in Great Yarmouth" he wailed.....
