^ :-) Naomi It's a word I haven't used since my teens, Bobbi. I do remember my mother and an aunt talking about catching someone doing it on their way home from a bingo session. I found it quite funny to listen in because, as they knew I was within earshot (and that my 7 or 8 year old ears could pick up a pin drop), they were talking like Les Dawson and Roy Barraclough :-)

It meant tobacco once over Ken, how times change :0(
Reminds me of the old joke about the chap in the tobacconists shop asking if he could recommend a good dark s**g.

Shirley Bassey was the reply, sorry.

Haha! My elderly aunts talked like that. Mouthing words and nodding sagely. Very funny. :o)

haha, that was so funny Ken
The grammar's poor, also.
I used that word in a recent post which was immediately removed.
Guess it's who you know, eh?
I was disappointed. I expected a different S word ;-)
its funny. made me laugh anyway
AZardoz, //Guess it's who you know, eh? //

Who you know is irrelevant to the AB swear filter. It doesn't - and can't - affect stuff printed in links. It only filters what the members here actually type.
