Sri Lanka - Marawila
We're about to book a 3 week holiday in Marawila on the west coast in November, as it appears to be the safest bet weather-wise. I know Sri Lanka has a complicated two-monsoon climate which I've attempted to get my head round! Has anyone been there at this time of year, and if so, can we expect decent weather? Thanks for any help.

We stayed in Hikkaduwa and Kandy.
Hikkaduwa is on the west coast down towards Galle and the weather was great. I seem to recall we deliberately avoided the east coast at that time due to weather.
Enjoy and make sure you visit Sigariya and Anuradhapura - they are unforgettable.
