Has the price of building materials rocketed - i.e. bricks , breeze blocks , sand , cement , roof tiles etc etc

If so are prices likely to reduce anytime soon ?

We are thinking of, having an outhouse built in the garden instead of buying a garden shed

A pal of mines is having a new house done and she says prices have increased. Plaster is in short supply and folk are making a killing out of it.

I seen someone selling 25kg bags of Thistle multi-finish plaster at just under £60 on eBay when the regular price is £7.20 in Wickes.

Production of plaster has increased but folk are allowed only limited amounts and the bags fly off the shelves as soon as they arrive.
