I would appreciate some help with regard to organic produce. Generally speaking it appears that anything with Soil Association approval is organic, however my queries are with produce from abroad, it may state organic, is it true organic etc. Also I believe that there are certain different bodies that are not linked with the soil association that state that they are organic. I would really appreciate someone giving me a general overview of the organic market as there seems to be lots of contadicting views. Many thanks in advance.

I sure understand your concern, but if you look for the EU's "organic logo" you'll know that the produce lives up to these demands:

Hope the site helps

I've found out there is organic cotton used in making the clothes, towels, bags, purses and a lot of useful things. It can be mixed with viscose fibers, and it is twice better , becuase first of all it is organic and the second it does not expose the soil to toxic chemicals .
