Can’t Text
5 Answers
Thing 1 bought herself a new mobile and she got a new EE SIM card. I can text her but she can’t send texts. EE doesn’t have an online chat thingie and I don’t have the patience to wait on the phone to speak to someone. Anyone have any ideas how to sort her phone out? Thank you

If T1 is using PAYG 'bundles', she might be getting caught out by the way that long texts are handled by modern smartphones.
'Bundles' normally include sending loads of 'plain' (SMS) texts, as well as making calls and using data, but they don't include sending picture (MMS) messages. There's a character limit on SMS texts, beyong which (even though there's no picture involved at all) a long text message gets converted to a picture message, which needs additional payment (beyond what's included in 'bundles') before it can be sent.
Ask T1 to try sending a very short text message (such as 'Hello'). If that goes through, but long messages don't, it will be because she needs to add some non-bundle credit to her account.

Already been through the EE ‘help’ pages and she has credit, looks like I’ll have to phone them (sigh).
Hedgehogs are good, currently seeing 2 a night as a minimum, sometimes 5 (as in they are there whilst I am outside). There must be more because they are going through food like there’s no tomorrow :)
