Andy, yes, so that makes me a culturalist, blind to race but not culture.
Theland - // Andy, yes, so that makes me a culturalist, blind to race but not culture. //

If you say so.
Irrespective of the zero terms of reference/definition of "White Privilege", it is a subset of 'classism' - [ = is prejudice or discrimination on the basis of social class : and has another subset which includes individual attitudes, behaviors, systems of policies and practices that are set up to benefit the upper class at the expense of the lower class ]

It has probably existed since the dawn of humanity, certainly existed for most of humanities existence and is highly unlikely to ever be removed from humanity the way things are going.
SevenOP - I don't agree.

If my family get up and go to work consistently, setting good examples for our kids, but a neighbouring family prefer to be lackadaisical and live on benefits, is that not simply family culture?
"SevenOP - I don't agree."

Theland, with what that I posted do you not agree ?

The rest of your post seems to have no relevance to 'classism'.

Covid: //statistics for BAME men show they were nearly four times more likely to be fined than young white males - 57% of fines for a group that represents 14% of the population//

now, that's black privilege - the police more concerned to encourage BAME people to behave nicely

And it's so courteous of white folks to pretend it isn't happening.
