If it isn't water coming in fromthe air 'plenum chamber' due to blocked drain holes like suggested then it could be condensation. The air chamber inside the car, off which all the air hoses lead, will accumulate condensation as the air con is cooling down warm air - and cool air can hold less water than warm air. The system should be designed so that this condensation just drips out through tubes to underneath the car. If these tubes get blocked, then the chamber will accumulate water which will eventually end up splashing out of a vent and onto your foot - or your passenger's. Jaguars are quite prone to this problem, and it is a good idea to get under the car every year and poke the drain tubes clear with a piece of wire. I wouldn't be surprised if your Vauxhall needs the same attention.
