orange phone scam

I have received mysterious two-ring phone calls from 07099 numbers which have been persistent, annoying and a bit freaky.
have researched and have found of hoaxes in the past using 07099 numbers which encourage you to ring back to premium rate (very expensive) phone numbers. some of the present numbers are 07099871074, 07099871399, another is07099884249 i have responded to a couple. The ring tone is odd and i have been directed to what report to be orange answerphones. if you know anything or are having similar difficulties, please respond.

I received a call yesterday morning from 07099 805607, which appears to be the same problem.

If I have a missed call from an unrecognised number, I will not call it back. If somebody genuinely wants to speak to me, they will call back themselves.
