My D-i-L and Grandson play this but call out "Cheddar" for any yellow car and "Mini-Cheddar" for a yellow mini.

I've never heard of that one Sandy, but some traffic police do play "Speeding Snooker" ........... allegedly.

Radar speed gun... one point for nailing a speeding red car, two points for a yellow car etc etc.........

We used to look at the number plate of the car in front. We tried to make a word using the letters in the same order.

We played both car-colour-spotting and taking turns to make words out of the reg. nos. (letters in the right order). Kept us busy on long journeys and I used them with my kids.
