I need a new MOBILE PHONE but need advise

My moby has conked out after only a year and a half.Don't really know what is wrong with it but it wont charge up.Has anybody any ideas on what is the cheapest mobile at the moment.One that is easy to use with no contract.I want to have pay as you go again.I did have the sony ericsson f500i.I got on really well with that.Not too bothered about it being able to take photo's.Would like a phone small and compact.would really like a pink one.

Try just replacing the battery, if that's all it is. Much cheaper than buying a new phone.

not sure if it is batter or charger??by the time i have bought both i might as well buy a new one..i think???

If you want a pink one...go for T-mobile..it`s their colour! I`ve got a Sagem myC2 from them on Pay as you Go...�29.99 about 3 months ago. It`s silver with a pink top to the flip part. It is basic, not photos I`m afraid, but smart and small!

Try e-bay - with caution ! If you just want a fairly cheap simple phone, then you should find one of the basic Nokia's pretty inexpensive and reliable. Replacement covers are available in a multitude of colours for just about all of them cheaply. Just make sure that the phone you get is unlocked, so you can use any service provider's SIM card and has not been barred or blacklisted. Being on a contract, we have loads of not-too-old phones as we get a new one via a free upgrade every year or so. Quite a few of the service providers have one or two of the simpler models available for free, even on pay-as-you-go'. Have a look around. Also, don't give up on your existing phone untill you have tried charging it with another charger.
