This small (13cm) spoon belonged to my Grandmother.
It looks and feels like copper?
I believe the letter G may represent Glasgow as the city of manufacture, but I don't know what any of the other marks mean.
Could anyone shine some light on the origins of this small spoon please?

Thank you webbo3, I did check there but it doesn't actually look or feel like sterling silver, so it possibly wouldn't be marked as such. I think it's quite an old wee spoon.

None of the marks correspond to those that appear on the spoon.
ive been looking for the second symbol, the triangle with a cross, i think the G may refer to a date.

Wow! So the 3rd mark is the signature Gilbert on two levels, and they used the cross on the triangle mark also. I had no idea these hallmarks were so detailed. I was looking at German marks in case the G didn't stand for Glasgow, which it probably doesn't as John Gilbert was based in Birmingham.
Not hallmarks but silverplate marks (i.e. silver coated base metals, either electroplated or copper close plated) by John Gilbert.
