The writing in the appeal is a tad strange. It gives no information on who Adele is, her family history, her age, the particular type of disease she has (? neuroblastoma) or the specific type of treatment they are hoping to fund or what her prognosis is. I don't recall seeing a surname?

Why does the author keeping referring to her as "this girl" if she is the child's "mom"?

A quick search about this girl's plight on Google has yielded nothing.

I would be cautious about donating.

Kids with cancer would/should not happen if the universe were governed by a MORAL, being.
Any MORAL human would do all they can to assist.

Even a brief reading of the Bible shows (the ficticious) God of the Bible to be immoral by anyone's standards.

Slaughter of nations, genocide, hatred, stoneing to death of people for petty crimes, Drowning an entire planet, (save a single family and a floating zoo), Putting to the sword babies, animals and non-virgins, stealing land and property etc...
The list goes on, and yet God is MORAL???

This is the one point that Atheists and Believers agree on. God didn't cause it.

As an aside I always thought it a bit odd that Jesus would heal people that God had let get ill/dead in the first place.
