Yep i love them! I love heavy rain too (when im indoors listening.... just aswell living in Scotland!) x

Hate is too strong a word, I do prefer longer lighter evenings to be honest

Tinks ,so like me, nothing nicer that hearing rain and sleet hitting off the window when you're warm and cosy indoors
Thunderstorms are my favourite thing. I find them so calming.
I don't mind a dark night, but not the ridiculously long ones mid winter.
The ever-shortening daylight hours are so depressing. Nothing whatsoever to recommend dark nights and mornings.
I'd like autumn...without dark nights and shorter days. Particularly as down here it seems to be constantly dank, grey and wet. I really need sunshine, of which there is a serious shortage of.
It doesn't really bother me either way.

Autumn is my very favourite season Pasta, the colours are beautiful
it is summer
the evg arent dark
Yes, I like the dark nights and autumn is my favourite season anyway. The nights are really drawing in now.
Not me, I'm afraid.
Give me the choice between that and a summer evening in the garden and I'm afraid the former loses its deposit :-)
I love autumn and winter too....but I do love to see my garden flower.

I love seeing my garden in bloom too but I enjoy those warm cosy evening with the fire on and you're right ILM, the nights are shortening very quickly now
I'm torn on this one -I love my summer evenings in the garden with a bottle of wine and the fire pit crackling with a few logs. However, I equally love sitting in front of my log burner in the house in the winter with a spiced rum while the rain, snow, wind blows around the house outside. Trouble is the next day I have to go out and work in the snow/rain/wind so I think summer and light nights wins by a nose . ;-)
