Don't buy tulips and leave them in the boot of the car on a hot day to go and play golf....A friend of mine did that and he was still going to give his gf them - to say they had brewer's droop was an understatement.

To all forgetful people... At the beginning of each year,go to an online florist and order them all in advance. Flowers and cards and extras if you choose turn up at the right time and everyone is happy. Used to do this for a boss who liked to have flowers for all the ladies in the office on their birthdays.

Well I bought one early. She didn’t buy me one. I’d got my own back as I thought she wouldn’t. I wrote in it. “ Love you Happy Anniversary xx. I bought you this card a B.J latter is out of the question later is it? “ she didn’t find that amusing.
