We have a boat and went across to the Isle of Wight but it was so busy we couldn't moor up, so ended up just having a trip out to sea. Shattering but nice to get out in the fresh air.

i have had a nice lazy day.done some baking the recipe said to seperate the eggs so i have left one in the kitchen and the other is on the patio but that was 3hours ago and the cake is still not ready.oh dear maybe the recipe was for a christmas cake.

Clearing out and defrosting our large freezer which has become so jumbled that you have to nearly empty it before you can find what you're looking for. Have now tossed out all the 1991 and 1993 unidentifiable bags of stuff which could be either chicken stock or gooseberry puree (the labels have long since fallen off) and have now made up a spreadsheet inventory with every single item on it.
Am feeling rather smug. This chore will probably not now be repeated for another ten years !

Hey ashblonde bet you enjoyed beating the sugar and butter together too? Lol ;-)

WendyS good way around the label falling off problem is by using those special freezer pens, stay on the bags/cartons forever. Mind you it's a good idea if you write on the bag instead of leaving the magic pen in the drawer. I defrosted what I thought was some stewing steak - turned out to be some sage/onion/apricot stuffing!!

Well I'm nearly 3 months pregnant, feeling dreadful and shattered after spending all day with my 3 year old nephews, so nauseous and feeling miserable - just want to go to bed! I'm no fun at all!
