All answers are things that are seen on the breakfast table
No. 9. Wise men travel around America (8)
No. 10. Popular 60's birds were a big spin (5/4)
No. 11 off your rocker on board this boat (7)
It's a bit misleading to use '60's' to describe the Liver Birds sitcom. Only 5 of its 86 episodes were transmitted in 1969. Almost all the rest were shown right through the 70's (says Wikipedia).
OTOH, it's a quiz sheet & not a legal document.
Maybe it's a reference to Liverpool itself being popular culturally in the 1960s- and the birds on the Liver Building symbolised that- rather than to teh TV sit com of that name
It had me stumped - I couldn't see how to link The Byrds to breakfast either.
FF: My family come from Scouseland and I lived there for a while in the 50's & 60's. IMHO, hardly anyone outside the North-West had heard of the Liver Building birds before the TV programme came along.
