The theme tune is called 'Neighbours' and it was written by Tony Hatch - who wrote the theme to 'Crossroads' amongst other items, and his then wife Jackie Trent wrote the lyrics. Just because it's relavent, Jackie Trent is my mum's god-daughter, and no, she doesn't get a share of the royalties - my mum that is, not Jackie Trent, who is probably minted for life by now!
