i didn't say you were breaking any rules but calling the thread 'Am I a rule breaker' was a bit silly.
You are making me jealous Bobbi ;-)

Good Grief Ummmmm...............

I admit I had not went through the rules with a fine tooth comb before posting this so yes, it was rather previous in the OP

The Old Ship Inn, Seahouses Bobbi -they have a suite with views over the Harbour to the Farne Islands and you can see Bamburgh Castle. They do lovely meals there too.
Question Author
Arh I know it well although we've never stayed there,we may pop into Craster for their infamous kippers, not for me but OH loves them :0)
although the restrictions say the following: "We advise that you should only travel for essential reasons when travelling into, within and out of the affected areas" and the list of essential reasons does not include leisure/going away, as it advice only at the moment, you would not be breaking any rules (IMO). It may of course change by the time it comes around!
The Ship have those kippers on the Breakfast menu - I ordered them and took half and hour picking through bones -never again! ;-)
Question Author
It's the smell I can't stand, it lingers forever so I might have to do them in the caravan with widows and door wide open haha

Question Author
