Got A New Car!

I finally settled on a FORD Ka. Long MOT. 58000 on the clock and only done 3000 in last three years. 2 previous owners. 2006 plate.
Very basic but excellent runner. Only snag, no central locking.
One or two little bits to be done. Was £995 got it for £800.
Was very nervous at the thought of driving 20+ miles home alone but I was ok it was a super drive.

Sounds like you've done alright.

Don't worry about no central locking. It's not long since that was only for posh expensive cars, along with electric windows and power steering.

I had one. It was a brilliant little car. I had central locking but not remote locking.

It's a 3 door and drivers seat will not move forward.
Bit of rust round filler cap and small bit in the boot.
We have a super mechanic locally so going to see him on Monday. But overall I am pleased with the car.

I haven't seen one that hasn't got rust around the filler cap ( on the earlier shape Ka's ), Caran.
Seat should be a reasonably easy fix though.
