Boris's apologists have no sense of humour.

I am probably being dim but what does "boris apologist" mean? Someone who apologises for boris?

I thought the opening sketch was the best bit of the show. It'll be the Boris-worshippers and the "Disgusteds of Tunbridge Wells" who complained.
