Can you get in trouble with the police for squirting people with water? It's just that most nights/mornings i have groups of people drunk and screaming and shouting outside the building i live in. I wouldn't mind if they were just walking past but for some reason the ******** loiter around outside waiting for taxis and the like. So i am thinking of buying one of those massive super soakers to drench them with because it is starting to affect my sleep and work.

As kids, we used to squirt water at people going by our flats, then ducking for cover!!! Used the empty of fairies l i q u i d bottle filled with water. Not that I am hinting or advising you of doing any such thing, gracious me no!!!!!!
I think probably it would come under the huge 'public order' umbrella. (lol) No pun intended. Give it a shot though and see what happens, the complainant would have to prove which window it came from and who the marksman/woman was though, and so it would be a difficult case to bring, expecially if it was done in the dark. better you video them and report their behavior.
Yes, you can. I have seen it reported in the news. It is classed as assault by the police.

It's a damned serious business too, make no mistake. Doubtless they will spend 100s of hours investigating, if such an 'assault' is reported to them. People like you, who propose wetting people thus, should be locked up and the key thrown away.
lol catso, good call.
Give it a shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good call catso!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

?????????????????????????????????????????????
Good answer catso!

A few years ago I and two friends had a running water pistol battle with 2 police motorcyclists in Farnborough they chased us for about a mile! We noticed they had the pistols stuck in their boots.

We were working at farnborough air show Chauffering.

For some reason or other a lot of police and other people who were working at the show for the full week started carrying water pistol pistols. If you worked at the show you had to be fully armed.

Don't forget we were all middle aged adults.

As the traffic jams were horrendous when the show finished the police controling traffic away were wearing sooty glove puppets to direct the traffic, kept all the frustrated car occupants happy!

I cannot see this happening in todays PC world.
Get a huge carrier bag, like a Tesco bag-for-life, and fill that with water. They bomb beautifully. Be sure not to be spotted though !
*disclaimer - not advice!*

Looks as though you could be charged with assault. If you're going to be arrested anyway, better to be hung for a sheep than a lamb - why not just try squirting battery acid at them instead?

lol
Why don't you get a window box, then you could swear that you were innocently watering your geraniums that way, because your watering can has a hole in it.
if thwy are sittitng on your wall, why not put up railings or spiky plants to stop them

Cheers all, i am gonna soak the next group that annoys me. I might even put some red food colouring in the water too.
Captain - keep us posted with how it goes because I might start to use this tactic. I was thinkin of gettin a bb gun for similar purposes but then realised I could end up shootin someone in the eye or somethin hideous so realised I better not. :)
