High Hopes Sitcom

Anyone remember this from 20 years ago? It's on BBC iPlayer (all 6 series) if you want to see how sitcom used to be.

I can't decide whether it is truly awful or very funny, I didn't see it first time round. The saving grace is Margaret John who plays her part brilliantly. If you've got a spare half hour, have a look.
