Just received the following email from the setter


Hello Quizzer,

A bitter argument has been going on in the Answerbank as someone has asked for answers. Q 33 seems to be causing trouble (although this is not the only one asked) and to stop this I have asked for these arguments to stop before someone has a heart attack. I do these puzzles as a hobby and I want to carry on doing them. This argument has got out of hand.

I am now voiding Q 33 as it is causing too much of a problem. I cannot reach all of those who have had quizzes and I will apologise to them when the opportunity arises.

Thank you to all of the quizzers who have objected to the asking for answers but this has become too heated and has to stop.

Yes, the setter commented on the thread in question.


A little confusing really,is the clue being made void because it's wrong or because asking it has caused issues.

I'll add this to the roundup.
