I have a new laptop, and the background is black with white text, generally. I find this quite hard to read and would like to change it to a white background with black text. I can’t seem to find an easy way to do this! Is this just the way it is on Windows 10, or can I change it?
I think you've got the high contrast option turned on - this is supposed to help people with limited sight.
Right click on the windows icon bottom left and click 'settings'.
Type 'ease of access' in the search box in the panel then click 'high contrast' and toggle the switch to off.
Where is the picture that appears as a lock screen, but it’s just the general appearance of everything else. The screen is black with white text. I just wondered if I could alter that. For example, the Control Panel has a white background and nice green text with little icons – easy to read!
