Open Office Calc Crashing
1 Answers
Does anyone else use Open Office Calc? I've used it for a few years for transcribing genealogy records but in the middle of my current batch it crashed and I lost a load of stuff. Thought I'd sorted it but now I'm having to save every couple of rows otherwise it loses what I've just done. Yes, I know I should get another Office style but just wondered if I'm missing something obvious. I'm using it on uptodate windows 10, as I said there have been no major changes to how I use it.

Restart your computer.
Reinstall OpenOffice.
That should be all that you need to do but I'd probably also repair the registry with the free version of Glary Utilities (or the free version of CCleaner) in between uninstalling and reinstalling OpenOffice. That should ensure that the new installation doesn't pick up any corrupted elements of the old one.
