Couldn't get into it. Added to the list of critically revered comedies that do nothing for me, alongside The Office and The Royle Family.

Try as i might, i could never see what was so amusing about Cheers. I found it awful, yet all and sundry were hailing it as the funniest ever show on tv! Which only goes to prove that humour is subjective. One man's Morecambe and Wise is another man's Mike and Bernie.
As for 'This Country'; if the two clips are indicative of the comedic content on show, then it probably wouldn't be for me either.

I smiled at both of those clips Eleanor, but the series has passed me by. Which channel is it on?

I googled it to see that the two actors are brother and sister in real life and making quite a name for themselves in comedy.

The humors ok but its all the shouting that put's me off, its ok once or twice but not all the time, its to much
