The more disastrous precedent would be to inform all the other world nations that the UK is so weak it can be manipulated by them. I was surprised at Khandro's comment 7.28 Mon. 19 Oct. I assumed that churches were not allowed to open during the start of lockdown and afterwards back in March? I often meet a lovely, lovely man when out dog walking, a priest at a local church and we stop and chat. He is devastated that the church can't offer people what they normally do because of lockdown and worries that they will never be able to operate properly again. I haven't seen him recently. I'm not a churchgoer, but I was sad for him and his obvious distress.
