Musty Smell

This musty smell first started in May and then disappeared only to return last night it makes me feel sick and I don't know why it's here and it seems strange that it's reappeared after months I don't know what to do about it has anyone got any suggestions I should also add that the smell sticks in my nose.

Are you able to book a cleaner in to help you? If you are physically unable to do it yourself it might be an idea to get one in every 2 months.

good question from straydog, it might be a sinus infection rather than the house.

Sounds like dead rat under floorboards, the smell lasts until it's either mummified or rots away, but I can. vouch for it being awful, sickly musty , and it seems to stay with you. Even air freshener doesn't help. Whacking the heating up high and improving ventilation helps a bit.
