Krakow

Hi guys, I'm going to Krakow with some mates on the 7th September (just over one weeks time). Couple of questions, i wasn't going to take much currency, just my bank card which allows me to take money out with no commision or charges (good old nationwide), but just suddenly wondered if there are many hole in the walls around, or should i take a bundle of cash??
Also, we are gonna be there for 6 days, so till mid-September. can anyone tell me what the weather/temperature is gonna be? and what sort of clothes should i take??
Any other tips/places to visit/advice also very greatly appreciated.

Auschwitz is the other main sight - though my own view is that it's a place of pilgrimage and not a tourist attraction and probably best left unvisited. Depending on your temperament it could ruin the holiday - or make it.
Zakopane is a pleasant mountain resort about 50 miles south, easily reached by train or bus.
