Christmas will be quieter than usual.

not quite true i did them back in august when my brother turned 70 but unlikely will see them till this thing is over,

I saw family at the end of summer 2019 when most of them had a few days off work. Nothing since then. Not even new addition to family who is now nearly 9 months old. Not this Christmas either as most of them are key workers and will be on duty at some point. However, I keep telling myself some are much, much worse off. Still feel sad though.

I'm kinda liking lockdown, don't have to do all the family Christmas stuff. I try to look on the bright side.

Whether it can be made to 'sound good' or not, the newspapers are predicting a full lockdown is the way we're going:

Actually, if it means that I might get to see the people I think of as 'family' (who're in Sheffield, which is currently a 'Tier 3' area), the idea is quite attractive to me.
